"Bohemian Bliss" Kirsten's photo shoot with Tyson French

I posted Kirsten's before and after photos a while back, but she just got her pictures back from the amazing Tyson French and I had to share them. This girl...wow.

...those cheekbones though

So for her makeup she wanted a pretty soft and simple eye with winged liner. I used Urban Decay's gel liner in Perversion with a thin liner brush. She wanted a smooth and soft look for the skin so we did airbrush foundation from Dinair, which as you can see photographs beautifully. She also wanted a strong contour so I use Benefit's Hoola Bronzer and NYC Color Wheel Bronzer. I love this bronzer for a couple of reasons. It's affordable, which we all love, and its a warm color. I generally like to contour with a shade with cool undertones, and then I like to use this to blend out the contour to make it look more natural and soft. We finished off with a nude lip, and I'm just crazy about how these pictures turned out.

Madilyn Paige Irreplaceable Music Video

Ooo boy. One of my favorite days so far as a makeup artist has got to be the music video for Madilyn Paige. This girl is incredible. She was on the Voice season 6, she is so talented and humble. Seriously, EVERY time anyone gave her a compliment she responded with the most sincere "thank you so much!"
So I got to do her hair and full makeup, light makeup and hair and touchups for about 6 of her friends, and then light powder and lipgloss for about 25 extras. I was a busy girl that day! But I seriously had so much fun, met some amazing people, and am so grateful to have been a part of it. I can't wait to see her music video when it comes out! (ps I have a little appearance in it. ah!)

I foolishly only got a few pictures (poor quality) but here they are...

Bridal Photo shoot collab with Kayla Brooke Photography

I got an opportunity to work with another very talented photographer, Kayla Brooke, and her gorgeous model Becca. Kayla wanted a very simple, organic, and clean look for the photo shoot. So we just focused on the skin and left the eye very light. I went with light pinks which I loved with her skin tone!

Sometimes less is more, and I think this was one of those times. We kept the focus on the beautiful dress and flowers.
