Bridal Trial Run: Mari

Mari gets married in 2 weeks and wanted to do a little trial run on her hair. We figured we might as well do a little makeup while we were at it. Do you ever do just your hair, but you still don't feel pretty until you do your makeup, or vise versa? That was how she felt, so we just did it all! It was very last minute so that's why there is no natural lighting in the pictures, sorry.! It was 10:00pm...I'll get better pictures on her wedding day.

Engagments: Bree's sultry look

Bree is stunning. I can not get over her eyes, which pop even more with her dark hair. Bree is a very dear friend of mine so it was such a pleasure to do her hair and makeup for her bridals. Bree is used to wearing makeup so she gave me freedom to go pretty dramatic on the eye.

For hair we just added some clip-in extensions and she wanted loose waves. I used a 1 1/2 inch curling iron and left about 2 inches out from the bottom. I set it with Big Sexy Hair Spray &Play hairspray.

I loved and enjoyed helping Bree with her engagements and I can't wait for her bridals and wedding day.

Bridals: Megan

Megan was an amazing bride! I could have talked to her for hours!

When we had our consultation she mentioned to me that she had someone do her makeup before and she had hated it. I asked her what she didn't like about the makeup and she said that the eyelashes were so unnatural and she felt a little like a drag queen! Well that was a good indication to me that we needed to go a bit more natural...which was perfect because Megan is so naturally beautiful.

After:

Foundation: Airbrush foundation from Dinair
lashes: individuals in Medium and short lengths
Brows: Anastasia Dipbrow in Blonde
Blush: MAC Melba
Highlighter: MAC Soft and Gentle

She also wasn't exactly sure what she wanted with her hair, but she sent me several pictures of things that she liked. The common thing in all of the pictures was they were all soft curls with some sort of embellishment or braid. After discussing it for a bit she decided to go with a waterfall braid with it all pulled to the side.
